Arabian Warrior Brings Free Fitness Excitement to Schools in Saudi Arabia with Riyadh Event on 11 January 2025

Arabian Warrior, the premier Middle Eastern obstacle course race (OCR) series, is set to launch its Riyadh event on January 11, 2025, and is inviting schools across Saudi Arabia to join the action. As part of its commitment to promoting fitness and teamwork among youth, Arabian Warrior is offering free tickets to schools, ensuring students can experience the excitement of this groundbreaking fitness event.

This immersive fitness adventure follows the successful debut of Arabian Warrior in Jeddah in December, and will continue with events in Dammam on February 15, 2025, as well as other locations across the Middle East, including Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, and finale in AlUla in April. The series features race distances to suit every participant, from 5km, 10km, 20km, and 50km courses to a 1.6km kids’ event tailored for children aged five and up.

Nic Cartwright, founder of Arabian Warrior, emphasized the importance of engaging the next generation in fitness and resilience:

“Our mission with Arabian Warrior is to create a fitness phenomenon that embodies the spirit, culture, and resilience of the Middle East. By inviting schools to participate, we are empowering young people to embrace challenges, foster teamwork, and celebrate their achievements. This initiative is about more than fitness—it’s about inspiring confidence and unity within Saudi Arabia’s communities.”

Arabian Warrior offers a unique experience by blending fitness with Saudi heritage. Participants will tackle Arabic-themed obstacles, celebrating the Kingdom’s culture and landscapes. Beyond the race, the event features vibrant celebrations that reflect the region’s traditions, making it a meaningful and memorable experience for participants and spectators alike.

The series is also dedicated to environmental sustainability, incorporating eco-friendly practices such as recycled trophies and partnerships with conservation organisations. This approach ensures that Arabian Warrior leaves a lasting impact not only on its participants but also on the planet.
