The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) has signed a memorandum of cooperation with King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah.
The agreement aims to provide shared quality programs for gifted students, disseminate creativity and innovation in society, and increase the degree of gifted students’ discovery and sponsorship.
Mawhiba’s program provides training sessions for teachers and supervisors in a variety of areas
The accord, signed by the university’s Vice President, Hana Abdullah Ali Al-Nuaim, and Mawhiba’s secretary-general, Amal Al-Hazzaa, included areas of cooperation and experience exchange.
The university will also host Mawhiba’s enrichment, academic, and research programs, which will be managed by the foundation in accordance with best international practices. Mawhiba will provide training on how to design, run, and evaluate these enrichment programs.
Furthermore, the memorandum called for the university’s assistance in the creation of the school partnership program. Mawhiba’s program provides training sessions for teachers and supervisors in a variety of areas, including technology use, discussion methods, evaluation skills and approaches, technical counseling, management development, and leadership abilities.

The two parties will be involved in a number of other programs for students, focusing on research development skills, leadership capabilities, and specialized programs for advanced-stage Olympiad candidates. The collaboration is intended to assist them in taking on leadership and prominent social roles, as well as cooperating in competitions, exhibitions, and events that Mawhiba organizes or participates in.
The cooperation agreement will also include the exchange of expertise and knowledge between Mawhiba and King Abdulaziz University members in academic, research, and professional fields, with the goal of producing a generation of young people who are creative in the fields of science and technology.
